THE DAY THAT I WILL NEVER FORGET
You know that warm and fuzzy feeling that you get when your spending time with people you like? How happy you must’ve felt in that moment being surrounded by the people you love. Well, I’m pretty sure everyone has had at least one moment like that. This essay is about how I turned away, went back and made such great memories!
So, this all started in 2023. If I remember correctly, I think it was on the 15th of August? I was in fifth grade and to be honest, 2023 was the best year of my life so far. Truely the glory days. So anyway, I was in fifth grade and the seating arrangement in class at that time was in groups. So that meant two tables would be against each other and five students would be in one group.
At first, I was in the very front of the class. It wasn’t too bad I guess, I got to sit with my best friend. However, the group beside us was a very noisy one. It was all boys. So, my class teacher at the time decided to separate everyone from that group and change the seating plan. After a few adjustments, we all got separated! But just because my class teacher adored me so much, she gave me an option. I could either sit with all my best friends in the back of the class, or I could sit with my other classmates who I wasn’t really fond of in the front of the class.
Now, this is just a reminder that, I have very bad eyesight, so siting in the back of the class wound not do me any good. But if I sat Infront of the class with the other group, I would most likely get bullied. I didn’t want to risk my studies for my friends so with a heavy heart, I sat down at the front of the class. This one guy who was beside me started picking on me from the moment I sat down. That's when I thought to myself, “Oh, my god, I will have to deal with him for the rest of fifth grade! What if I go back to my friends now? They’ll probably let me copy their notes when I can’t see. Or I’ll ask my mom to get me glasses!”And that's when I told my teacher that I had changed my mind and that I wanted to go with my friends. She let me do so. I got seated in my new seat, and to no one's surprise, I couldn’t see a single thing from the chalk board. However, my friends did let me copy their notes. And we had an amazing time with each other. We would talk all the time, sing with each other and we also made a comic together with our original characters! that's when I truly felt like I met such great people that share the same interests as me, that love me and that they would do anything with me. I was really happy.
Those small experiences in life are the ones that made me the happiest! I look back at those memories fondly wishing we hadn't grown up. Wishing I was with them again. They made me feel so warm and fuzzy inside and I hope that I did the same.

My First Day at Loselling Middle Secondary School
To be honest, I don't remember my first day at school but I’m pretty sure it wasn’t the best. I was probably crying and begging my mom not to leave me. But I do remember my first day at Loselling Middle Secondary School.
I transferred to LMSS in fourth grade. I was a shy turtle and didn’t speak to anyone. My sister was there too though. She was two grades higher than me. Since it was my first day at a new school, my mother also came along. And I still remember how embarrassing that was. I was waiting in front of my class, and I notice this girl with a bottle similar to mine.
My mother on the other hand notices that I’m being very quiet and not interacting with any of my soon to be friends. My mom grabs my hand, marches me up to a bunch of other girls and says “hi everyone! This is my daughter Ihazeeya, I hope you guys will be good friends!” and leaves me there all by myself. At that time, I swear I wanted to just disappear.
I really can’t imagine how funny my friends thought of me at that time and how cringe it was. But now I joke about it to my friends all the time and have a good laugh. But seriously I never want to do that again.
